Dore Walking Football Tournament

Dore Walking Football, in partnership with Sheffield United Community Foundation and Totley Pharmacy, hosted its first Walking Football tournament on Saturday 20th May. Thanks to the following teams for their participation:

The emphasis for this friendly tournament was fun, participation and inclusivity; it wasn't just about winning!

Entry for all teams was free thanks to Totley Pharmacy's kind funding of the event.

​

On the day, the Sheffield United Community Foundation team won the main Fair Play award, and Dore Walking Football scored the most points from their four wins and just one defeat.

Thanks to all teams, referees and supporters for their participation. And thanks also to the Devonshire Arms pub in Dore for hosting us all after the tournament!
